Alt Tv Rewind

Star India has been showing "The Simpsons" in original broadcast order *except* for the various THOHs. They showed five randomly chosen ones the week of Halloween, but other than that, they are not showing the THOH episodes. Is that standard syndication practice, or something peculiar to this particular TV station?

Here in L.A. they run 5 THOH eps over a week, usually at the 11:00 slot. They always do it on Halloween, but sometimes when they just get bored. I don't think they've been following original broadcast order at al.
