this episode was on tonight... (11 pm Pac time). i think its a great example of the GOOD late seaons that show has had (seasons 8 through 12). ANyway a lot of the classic simpsons characters feature and the writing is sharp with site gags that actually work rather then linger for too lon. However i dislike how in later episodes Homer is stupider then in early episodes and its real noticable.
Anyone agree disagree?, Why has Homer been dumbed down? Are some (read.. most) later episodes still quite good even if they don't mock our society and instead are mainly slapstick with more random plotpoints (leprosy, celebrities, walt disney world, the superbowl).
