Terrible

That was an absolutely terrible episode.

I thought the first 2 "acts" were hilarious... last one left some to be desired

But after Act One, the episode was great. Very well done.

You're probably right...I just get annoyed when people say an episode was terrible without bothering to explain why. I was trying to go for both brevity and wit in my reply, but I guess I can't please everyone. (I probably don't come close...)

I'll agree. While I'll proclaim myself to be one of the more anal "physics police", the set-up of the first act was to have pain in Homer's eye. Might as well make it funny. And it's not like the surrealism was substituted for more important story elements or something.
