Off Topic: Tonight's KOTH was one of the funniest episodes in the show's run. George Foreman made a great guest spot on it. Amazingly, the simpsons was also especially strong tonight. "Sounds like goooood watching" as Homer would say.

Van Gogh-One of his many self portraits was purchased by Lisa. I would say that was a good investment, especially since his paintings go for the high 10's of millions these days (when they are sold at all)

The Twilight Zone- Alone guy who has books to read whose glasses break. I think that this episode has now been done on Futurama, Family Guy, and now The Simpsons.

Another reason to go to the Simpsons house: Air Hockey Table AND ping pong table. Was the head still in the basement, or did they have to move it to make room for the bed?

Line of the Night: "I didn't sacrifice my period for second place"

Review: It is amazing that it has been 300 episodes. I feel like just the other day I was back in 10th grade watching Bart set his dog loose in the elementary school and befriend Skinner. Well, that was almost nine years ago (oh man that was a long time ago), and while the show as a whole has gone downhill there can still be some really nice episodes. This was one of them. It was smart and funny and had enough cool references and one liners to make even the most cynical fan happy (at least until next week). Marge's flaws were believable, even though the steroids were a stretch. Anyhow, it was a great show and was a better choice for fans for the 300th episode instead of just another celebrity showcase. Grade: A
