simpsons fans-
just wondering what you people do every sunday at 8 - what your traditions are. i think we'd all agree that the show is funnier when watched with friends.
i myself go over to a friend's dorm and about a dozen of us watch it, then suffer through king of the hill before the sopranos comes on (odd ... i don't watch any TV all week, then on sunday it all piles up). chinese food is a must.

I don't, because most of my friends either laugh really loudly, or they won't stop moving around and making noise. On weekdays, that's fine because I already know what's going on, but for new ones I prefer watching it alone or with only a few select people.
I'll have to agree....especially for the Sopranos when someone ALWAYS asks "who's that guy" only to be silenced by a barrage of STFU's.

I agree. The Simpsons is a hell of a lot funnier when you compare it to Friends.
My parents, although they are aware that the Simpsons are on every Sunday, insist on having a family meal. They try to be done before the show starts, but complications with the cooking always make it run over. Every damn week. So my ritual is to eat as fast as I can and quietly excuse myself so I don't piss off my mom. I also have to hurry my dad along as he cooks, otherwise he would cook all night.
I always watch alone.
