Chief Wiggum: Most underrated character

Am I the only one who thinks Chief Wiggum is just absolutely hilarious in evey scene he's in??? He's gotta be one of THE funniest characters on the show...think back to the episode the Simpsons got the pool, and Marge & Homer were skinny dipping (sorry, I'm not one of those people who know the episodes by name)...Chief Wiggum and Lou and Carl were up in the helicoptor, like 'commence skinny dipping......awwww. c'mon.....C'MON.....ok lou, open fire.' (or something to that effect). Gotta love him...

...Or how about the episode where Principal Skinner got fired...when the police showed up to the school gym after Willy and Santa's Little Helper fell from the air ducts, Chief Wiggum can be seen walking across the gym floor to investigate....while his subordinates are seen playing basketball in the background. Chief Wiggum: "That's good work, boys..." LMAO

Cheif Wiggum is great because he's pretty much remained a consistant character through the years. He doesn't get overused, he just pretty much chimes in with the gag lines when appropriate. And they haven't tried to reinvent him in some dumb way (like they did with Skinner.)

"Sideshow Bob is a cancer on this fair city. He is the cancer and I am the....uh...what cures cancer?"

But I think Milhouse beats him for best secondary character. Prof Frink is good too.

What?? Have you gone mad???? Everytime I see Das Bus I feel like kicking in the TV! Millhouse is the most annoying character, I prefer Ralph Wiggum in the children's category.

I saw Das Bus yesterday and Milhouse had a great line in it but I forget what it was. One of the best Milhouse bits is in Summer of 4ft 2 when they are playing the dating game and Homer gets the geek: "ha ha. he looks just like you Poindexter!!" Also, in the episode where Lisa goes out with Nelson, when Milhouse passes the note to Nelson and then waves at him. hilarious.

My absolute favorite Milhouse moment has to be in the episode where Bart becomes Mr. Burn's son...where Mr. Burns is auditioning children of Springfield on who will get his inheritence...and Milhouse is standing on stage, and Mr. Burns says "Smithers....I thought I specifically said no Geeks!" Then Milhouse says "....My mom says I'm cool...". Then later Lisa gets on stage, and Mr. Burns says "No Girls", then cut to Milhouse backstage in a dress saying "...There goes plan B". HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!
