the "castrato christmas" is the one that gets me. a castrato is a singer who is, uhm, surgically altered in order to retain his high-pitched voice througout his later years. they did used to exist, esp. in England (although the italian word is always used, i don't know why), but as far as I know, never did put out any albums.
