2 Dec ep

I like.

Complete story (not hint of a subplot) with a logical progression and NO sudden trips into never-never land.

I'll given it a 9. This is one of the best eps in the last few years.

LOGICAL PROGRESSION???? let me see here . . . the simpsons eat in a chinatown restaurant, homer becomes a fortune cookie writer (his 20th job in the last two years?), writes a fortune that "you will find true love on flag day," burns orders chinese food and reads said fortune, goes searching for love, meets a female POLICE OFFICER and starts dating her, has homer help him, proposes to her, then snake, A CRIMINAL, tries to rob the bowlarama, sees his ex, burn's fiancee, and takes her and homer hostage and . . . blah blah blah, stupid crap . . . the girl ends up with snake. THE POLICE OFFICER ENDS UP WITH THE CRIMINAL. fine, but we have no acknowledgement that she was a police officer in the first place, it's like they just forgot, or didn't care.

that episode was the suckiest suck that ever did suck.

so much for logical progression.

but it was funny. you can't tell me you didn't laugh

2. there were some good jokes in the episode, but the horrendously out-of-character behavior of burns, smithers, homer, lisa, et. al. more than overshadowed the few laughs the episode provided.

It had some pretty good gags but when the plot sucks, what is the point?  I
might as well read a joke book or something.
