So, tonight on the east coast... that should've shown the rest of us that FOX couldn't care less about being anything except the NFL's bitch. But, my friends, it's easy to just insult FOX and put up with not seeing act 1-1.5 of Futurama, or even missing KOTA. But it's a lot easier to buy a C-Band Satelitte dish. I have one, and I never miss an episode of anything. Because it comes days before airing with no commercials. But you need a C-Band dish. It's all uncompressed. I would have seen this week's simpsons, but they change the feed times every once and a while.

Football was on NBC tonight, so Futurama and Simpsons ran in their regular slots unimpeded by the networks.
BUT, in the Harrisburg Market, Fox43 just *HAD* to delay the start of Simpsons so they could remind us that it's still snowing and it really affects things.... yadda yadda yadda...
And they always scroll the lottery numbers across Futurama cause they are drawn at 7:00.

Beginning this week, Fox is shutting down all its analog satellite feeds, replacing them with a new multiplexed MPEG 55.294 MB/s 8PSK FEC 2/3 digital feed on Telstar 6 transponder 10. "Cool, huh?" All the analog stuff is supposed to disappear by January 18. So there still appears to be lingering bugs/kinks to work out in various affiliates' new receivers.
