I am certain that the Simpsons pre-date B&B. Wikipedia claims that B&B first appeared on "Liquid Television" sometime in 1992, and that the first episode of their own show aired in March, 1993.

It most certainly does, if not in series form, then in skit form for sure. The Simpsons started as short animated skits on the Tracy Ullman show way back in the '80's.
