It was Edvard Munch's "The Scream". Munch was a fairly morbid painter whose life was riddled with the death of various relatives, and his own depression and sadness. The character in this painting was supposed to represent the embodiment of his miserable experiences (if I recall correctly), and was portrayed on a bridge in Munch's hometown that was notorious for being a site of many suicides. A Google image search for "the scream" brings up plenty of images of the painting. It was in 3G02 "Lisa's Sax".

I've actually heard a different explaination for the picture, I don't know if its true or not.

Apparently, the figure in the foreground isn't screaming, he's covering his ears in shock because he hears someone else screaming. I'm told that the bridge overlooks a lunatic asylum. I've also been told that the colour in the sky is .due to the explosion of Krakatoa East of Java.

Could be, could be... I'm just regurgitating from memory what I learnt in my college art class. ;-)
