Is it possible that Futurama can come back? Wasn't it "rested" and not officially cancelled??
I've finally seen EVERY episode and it just got better and better and better.
NOW I've purchased season 1, 2 and 3 on DVD and I'm LOVING them... I'm watching one episode and then watching it again with the HILARIOUS commentary. David X. Cohen does go on a bit, though doesn't he :) LOL!
I'm bringing this up because I just saw a new episode of the Simpsons... (In Australia it was the "Evita" episode) and I was saddened. It just had no spark - and all I could keep thinking of was... Futurama kicks this. ALSO over the (Australian summer) on PayTV everymorning seven days a week they've been screening at least 3 hours of the Simpsons. The OLDER episodes - the GOOD seasons... seasons 2-->9. Then I switch on the other night to the "New Season" - is it season 15 already? And was empty... there wasn't anything there. Nothing like the old Simpsons -- no memorable quotes. And what happened to Martin Prince's voice!?! Oh and did they get back the woman who does Krabapple - cause she sounds - back on track to how she used to.
I miss the old Simpsons - I want NEW Futurama.
Futurama combined, crazy stories, GREAT injokes, quotable quotes (thank you Dr. Zoidberg) the occasional celebrity voice, and at the same time the show has HEART. The final episode was so sad.
