Correction: they're not on my computer, they're on my hard drive. I can magnetize, crush, submerge, and set fire to my hard drive and buy a new one for about $100, in fact it would probably be easier than defragging/reformatting.
I think PGP's "wipe" feature is more secure than that piece of crap.
