Well, I've never seen Goodfellas, and so I'm assuming that would explain some of the flourishes in the plot (along with the Clair de Lune all over). Even without seeing that, the episode was fun enough. Nice to see that the plot took the whole episode, pretty much (and the new year's day setpiece was fun). Anyway, nice episode to wrap up before the break with.
DYN: ...three episodes out of four now (air order) with a Fox News helicopter in the opening (or first scene)? I guess the controversy from last time (NABF02) needs addressing. ...it's only mentioned once, but Homer's fake last name is Altosaxophony? (Interesting combination of a Simpsons thing and telegraphing its "phony" nature.) ...the drunk tank prison cam is 24 fps? ...Marge thinks Homer's in prison but still sends him a text? ...Fit Tony became not "Fat Fit Tony" but "Fit Fat Tony" on the way to becoming the new Fat Tony? (unless I heard wrong and it was Fat Fit)

Goof The epilogue mentions Lenny and Carl running a "shave ice" stand instead of "shaved ice".
Meta Fat Tony made a real call to Moe's that Moe assumed was a prank - for Yuri Nator. I didn't catch, though, if it was a wrong number, or Yuri was actually supposed to be there.
And one more thing Moe takes Homer through a small series of more and more private back rooms. It reminds me for some reason (probably a visual) of an early 90s SNL sketch where store employees are showing a new guy the back room/break room, but are still bugged by managers and customers... and they go into worse and worse hideaways that have smaller space, worse conditions, less to entertain (TV to radio and so on), and less to aid with eating (microwave, toaster oven, hot water pipe...). I don't remember when exactly it was, and I'm assuming it included the guest star, whom I also forget. Does anyone else remember this?
