For those of you who missed the Entertainment Weekly article on the Top 25 Simpsons episodes of all time, it is very good. It also says that The Simpsons have been given the green light for at least 2 more seasons, which to me is a very very good thing.
On a related note, those of you who panned yesterday's episode on this board, I do not understand. That episode had everything, it was a masterpiece aside not only recent Simpsons seasons, but along side any episode ever. It was smart, funny, made sense, and used the characters to their best. If you really hated it that much, you should stop watching and stop posting, because this board is for FANS.
I'll admit the majority of the Simpsons classics are probably in the past, however, its been 15 years for God sakes and its still top notch compared to all other television. No other sitcom or otherwise puts so much thought into 23 minutes of TV.
Just be aware that 5-10 years from now we will witness The Simpsons movie making millions at the box office (which it will happen), we will all rush out to see it, and we will all be buying season 12 on dvd. And I just hope that those who criticized any part of this cultural phenomenon will not take part in it's final celebrated glory.
