The Verizon/MSN commercial with those two guys who get pregnant from watching the sonogram. I envy Helen Keller whenever that commercial comes on.
Worst...commercial...ever
That's nothing like my reaction to that damned Gevallia commercial where the dude goes home in the middle of the workday to enjoy some of his own coffee. It's right up there with my disgust for those Turning Leaf wine commercials, where you see the man cooking, waiting to surprise his wife who upon returning from a busy day of shopping.
Can you hear me now? Good! Kill me.

Ooookay. These sound totally benign from the description, so I'll assume they're worse than they sound here.
You'll have to watch them 50,000 times to understand.

I don't think you've seen the commercials Kellogg's are running for All-Bran in Canada right now, in which a couple is being forced to take the two-week challenge - that part is bad enough, but they're also having to share the house with William Shatner! I'm sure Kellogg's think they're edgy and funny, but to me they come across as somewhat creepy (particularly when Shatner shows them the All-Bran men he made the night before, after re-doing all their plumbing).
Don't take my word for it, here's where to see these commercials:

wow, that *is* pretty creepy. I wonder if Mr. "don't call me late for dinner" realises that he looks like a complete fool in those commercials.

He's gotta!! The whole thing is a spoof of him! Living with Bill Shatner, while testing out a bran cereal. The idea is surreal :P

My Shatner impression...
Kellogg's....(ten minute pause)....All Bran...(five or so mins later)...have fun...(three mins go by)...sitting...(seven more minutes)...on the...(six excrutiating minutes)...crapper...(four more agonizing mins)...all day

I have seen the "plumbing" update (day 4 of the Challenge, I think). I think there is a day 9 one.... the man of the house hears Shatner grunts and groaning behind a door as they try to carry on a conversation. Turns out Bill is just lifting weights.... well just one, looks small too. Not too funny, kinda creepy, like the rest of them.

As far as Canadian commercials go, I don't so much mind that one. I'm INCREDIBLY sick of the series of beer commercials with that guy doing the very bad Scots accent! Are you getting those in the rest of Canada, or is that just a Nova Scotia thing (since it's a Nova Scotia beer)?

Yup, we're seeing that one too. It was ok the first time, but it is grating now.

I hate that commercials too, for that damn Keiths beer. It's annoying and not funny..

There's apparently no such thing as "just a Nova Scotia thing", as the national media seem to love anything Maritime.
While I haven't tried this particular beer, it'd have to be pretty darn good to supplant "Trailer Park Boys" as the best thing to come out of Nova Scotia.

Having finally seen a few episode fo Trailer Park Boys, I have to confess I don't see what the big deal is. I find it impossible to like any of the characters and the show seems to amateurishly done
However, I'll probably see a few more, since I know John Dunsworth, who plays Lahey, very well. I have to admit it's a novelty to see someone I know on a regular TV show!

Speaking of commercials, I just have to bring this up...
The Kraft commercials.. Has anyone seen them? Where the guy takes the fish out of the bowl and makes easy mac in the fish bowl. That's disgusting, how does that possibly make anyone want to eat easy mac?
THEN, the cheese whiz commercial, where the guy runs out of cheese whiz so he runs around to everyone's recycling bins and takes the empty containers to get what he can out of the bottom. Completely disgusting.
The marketing team for Kraft must just be made up of a bunch of idiots or something, because everyone I've talked to about it agrees that those commercials are completely uneffective. Anyone else think so too?

how about the previous one in the series - guy comes home with his Easy Mac and discovers his wife left him, taking everything in the apartment except for his dog Buddy, the dog's bowl and the microwave. He's hungry, so he prepares the Easy Mac in the dog's bowl.... I think we know now why she left him :)
how about the commercials for the Kraft Delissioso pizzas? With people bickering about whether it's take-out or not. Real dumb - the latest one where the guys take a bet on whether it is or not, and the next day one guy's boss confronts the tutu-wearing loser with "Johnson. Lost another bet?"

Actually, the Kraft ads look like Shakespeare compared to their counterparts at McCain.

you;re right about that - like that couple in the pizza commercials. _This Hour has 22 Minutes_ did a devastatingly funny version of one of those, where the woman invites the man home for pizza - and she turns out to be a bunny boiler.... :)
If you're talking about them here then they are very effective. wwp "-CrEaTuRe-" wrote in message news:[email]...

But are they effective at making you want to eat the food? Kraft Dinner prepared in a dirty fish bowl, very appealing!!
