Can someone please help me out? Someone on another message board wanted to know the answer to this question:
Does anyone remember what season the changed the opening of the show so it no longer shows Bart swipe the stop sign as he goes by on his skate board?

I think Bart only swiped the stop sign on one episode, but i could be wrong. that was definetely not shown after the first season, though.
also, it looks like Apu is walking a dog in the opening sequence...

It happens in 7G01, 7G02, 7G03, 7G04, 7G06, 7G07, 7G09, 7G10, 7G12, and 7G13. The other episodes have shortened openings, or no opening.
That happens from Season 2 onward.
Someone on another message board said that Bart swiping the stop sign was cut out of the opening credits because some kid in Texas went around stealing stop signs. Kind of like the Beavis and Butthead lighter (fire, fire!!) controversy. Can anyone vouch for this?
