Kang and Kodos

I wonder, would any of you guys think that Kang and Kodos should appear in a regular episode? I think that would be interesting.

That recent "Homer Roast" episode, wasn't that the first appearance of Kang and Kodos in a NON halloween episode?

I have to say, I think SIMPSONS has jumped the shark. Bits of each episode are still very funny, but, as Matt Groening said recently, they've more or less run out of ideas.

I recently saw in rerun several first or second season episodes. It struck me how different the animation was, and how even the voices are different (same actors, but very different ways they do the voices).

But there was also a streamlined approach to the stories that is missing now, there was a point when the storylines made some sense for things happening to some family in a small town, now, the storylines seem to be sort of random....(and then, with an improbable celebrity guest appearance thrown in).

I hate when THE SIMPSONS goes FAMILY GUY-ish with impossible sight gags just for the sake of the quick laugh, the charm of the early SIMPSONS was there was a sort of internal consistency to their universe...

You just reminded me that in THOH1 there are 3 aliens, Kang, Kudos and one that needs to rip out your tounge to pronounce it. He looked slightly darker than the other two as well....just though I would share.
