I'm looking for all possible references to the movie Apocalypse Now. So far, I was able to notice two:
1) When Mr. Burns is about to assault Simpsons house with a tank, we can hear Wagner's Ride of the Valkyries for few seconds.
2) Skiner has a flashback back to his journay in vietnam. One of his buddies is shot while reading a letter from his girlfriend on a patrol boat (I'm not sure about this one)

"Bart of Darkness" -Episode title is a take-off of "Heart of Darkness," the Joseph Conrad novel "Apocalypse Now" is based on.
"Lisa the Beauty Queen" -The helicopter scene.
"Lisa the Greek" -"I used to hate the smell of your sweaty feet. Now it's the smell of victory.'' (Similar to the famous Robert Duval line.)
"Lisa the Vegetarian" -Itchy and Scratcht cartoon is called "Esophagus Now."

Yeah that's a direct parody of AN. Skinner is drawn to resemble Willard, plus he has an open envelope with a picture of Brando as Kurtz in it, plus Chef is sitting in the boat as well.
