Has anyone heard anything about the Simpson's Spin-off Matt Groening mentioned once in an interview? Which character would the spin-off deal with? Lisa in college? Homer's younger years? Does anyone know anything??

Well theres this interview: http://www.snpp.com/other/interviews/groening95.html where he said he TRIED to do a Krusty spin-off but the suits couldn't agree on the terms so it never happened.

The most recent accounts of a spinoff Mr. Groening described mention the possibility of a new series set around the secondary characters in Springfield. In fact, "Springfield" was even mentioned as a working title.

However that was nearly six months ago and not much, if anything has been mentioned since.
