Canada indeed... I have never said an episode sucked before but...

I dont know what to say here. that was simply NOT a good episode. the side story with skinner and the standup was not funny, the jokes with wolfcastle were rather weak, and they were in canada for about 4 minutes.

speaking of those 4 minutes, aparently there are canadians on this show, but what the fuck was that sad display of "canadianna" supposed to be.

just plain poor writing. i have NEVER said an episode was bad, but tonight was not good, poor, bad.

i hope the next one is better. p.s. if tvguide has a cover story for "the simpsons in canada" then it better damn well be the simpsons in canada... not just a shitty third act that was poorly thought out. oh yeah, the cn tower doesnt look like that. morons.

unfortunately, i feel that it was fitting. they hyped this episode (in canada at least) on all the tv guides and in the entertainment section of every newspaper... and they didnt deliver.

the third act was lame imo. sorry.

Well Americans do write the scripts and that two bit hacked script was a pathetic waste of our time. For years Simpsons have made fun and poked at us and that was fine I always thought that it was well done and humourous, but it was liked they wrote that script at the last minute, the only funny part in the entire episode was the crack about American currency.
