New Kids On the Blecch Syndicated End Credit Strangeness

I saw "New Kids on the Blecch" on Fox Philidelphia at 6:30 PM last night. Odd enough, the credits only ran up through the voice cast normally, then the rest of the credits ran on the right side of the screen while the live action N'Sync footage was on the left. The only reason I found these squeezed credits odd is because they were in the style of a Sunday night nationally-aired episode's end credits, with plain non-Akbar letters and a green "Fox" background, yet it was a syndicated episode. It was clearly not the local station's doing. Anyone else find this odd?

Nah. I bet the original credits were just the yellow on black like they usually are. When Fox aired it originally, they probably did the side credits thing so they could show NSync. Your local station probably also wanted to show the NSync stuff, so they just showed the credits in the same way. This NSync bit was never part of the episode...so to show it, they have to show it at the same time as the credits. Make sense?

No. The N'Sync version with split screen credits was shown in FOX Latin America. They always have the full screen credits with the Matt font, except for this episode. So the N'Sync stuff is indeed part of it.

Yeah...you're kind of missing what I'm saying...lemme try again. I bet that when they made this episode, it was 21 minutes long (or however long they are) and included plain yellow credits on black background. It was probably intended to be aired that way. At the last minute, I bet they said "hey, we have 2 minutes of NSync footage that we can use"...and instead of cutting 2 minutes out of the episode to make room for it, they showed it in split screen, at the same time as the credits were rolling.
