Burns Verkaufen der Kraftwerk

In the Burns Verkaufen der Kraftwerk (season 3) episode, Homer is in a chocolate land. I seem to recall some sort of television show or movie involving two kids in a similar chocolate land, which I'm assuming is the basis for the Homer-land. Any ideas what the show or movie was called?

Could you be thinking of Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory or whatever it was called. Although they have remade it recently with Johnny Depp, the original had Gene Wilder in the title role. It's years since I saw it but I think Willie Wonka took all the kids who had got one of the golden tickets to a place where everything was edible. I seem to remember there was a river of pop or something running through it and the fat kid dived into it.
