Best Opening Ever

The Ziff Who Came to Dinner (FABF08) The pullback all the way up to orbit, excellent effect. Very cinematic. Among other movies and films, a similar shot is seen at the beginning of NATIONAL LAMPOONS VACATION. And I like how in this sequence, Springfield sure the hell looked liked it was near Chicago. Just like in VACATION.

BTW, was this the longest couch gag ever? It lasted about 45 seconds, and with the way the animation jumped at some points I suspect it may of been even longer and they edited it down.
