I hope this isn't a stupid question (about Mr Burns)

In the episode with "bobo" (Mr Burns' bear) they show him as having lived with a poor family, before he was adopted by a rich family (could they really let a minor decide this as Monty did?). They showed his brother George, who was without dought shown to be THE George Burns.

My questions is related to Monty's age. His brother George in that scene look 12 or 13 (hard to say though). Monty was picke dup by a Limo, so that scene must have taken place sometime in the 20th century. Monty looked aobut 8-10 (possibly as young as 6 though) in that picture.

In the episode "homer the smithers" homer says he's 104 (the line, "I punched Mr. Burns in his in his 104 year old face!"), but if he's 104 in the mid 90's, does that work for that scene? I don't think they said the yera in that scene, so it quite possible that it makes sence, espcially if you take the age they've said he was when they used the lower age)

Ah, that would be consistent with the scene, if it was in the 20's or so (I think, since he served in ww2, if he was a kid in te 20's (lets say arround 8 years old) he'd be 18 in the 30's, which would be old enough to have served in ww2).

Because the scene was meant to be set around the turn of the century, it would've looked more convincing if Burns' adoptive father had turned up in a very early vintage car - instead of the vehicle we actually saw. Either that or he could've come for Monty/"Happy" in an imposing horse-drawn carriage.

yeah, actually. how old is mr burns? old. how rich is he? rich. how fat is homer? fat. and etc. These are quite vague fictional characters. no, actually it's a tad more complicated than that - mr burns is as old as is funny or appropriate when a situation arises where his age must be stated.

Burns doesn't seem to have a specific age.... He's just really old.... The show seems to use different figures all the time
