That's great. They don't show much of the older episodes around here. And with the acts all screwed up, well that's even better!!

When I was in college, our film society showed "The Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant" (by Fassbinder), and at one showing, they mixed up the reels and *no one noticed* until the credits started rolling with another reel of film yet to be shown. . . .

while i was in mongolia i was in the capital city and our office had a vcr so i rented a korean import of "gladiator" with r. crowe for the hell of it (don't usually like stuff like that - too hollywood - but you'd be amazed what you do after being in the khoodoo (mong. countryside) for awhile) and it was split on 2 tapes and i watched them backwards. thing is, the second tape started right when he got to rome to start being a gladiator, and i knew *nothing* about the movie, so it didn't dawn on me until the end what i had done. of course, then i watched the first tape, but it was kinda ruined.

I wonder if the station's BETA tapes are warping (BETA is the standard format for most affiliates) or if each act is on a different tape (for commercial tape breaks in between). Somebody was probably screwing around the the computer controls for the robotic tape changing rack.
