www.emmys.org says that the Emmys will now be held on November 4th, which is the Simpsons' season premiere (if the World Series doesn't last seven games). I guess the premiere will be postponed to the 11st.

I thought the same thing...but it will probably depend on whether ABC and NBC show reruns or something that night. Usually the networks don't put on original programming opposite the emmys but they are usually held just before or at the beginning of premieres.

But maybe FOX should just go ahead and premiere the Simpsons on the 11th...at least we'll have a definite date then.
