I finally realized that having a poor memory has definite advantages. I was watching an episode the other day and laughing out loud at it. My wife didn't seem to think it was funny, and I know she enjoys the same kind of humor I do, so I asked her why. She said it just wasn't that funny the second or third time she saw the episode. Then I realized: I forget most of the great lines and gags between reruns, unless I've seen them like four or five times. I get to enjoy them all over again!
