I think these are two of the best sub-characters in the Simpsons. So I start a vote between Professor John Frink and Gil. 1 vote to Frink by me Size matters not, judge me by my size do you?

Quite frankly, I have no idea how Gil was so annointed as this great character. I would pick either Burns or Apu as much better (perhaps you consider those main characters, though), or Willy.

I'm a big Frink fan but Gil deserves his due. Check out Jack Lemmon's performance in Glengarry Glen Ross to understand where Gil is coming from. You'll never want to be in sales, EVER.

Would of thought Gil would get some but Frink is THAT great. I do considerApu a main character but it doesn't matter I think Frink is the second best Simpsons character ever (behind Homer). I never not laugh at anything he says or does. If Frink is on screen I crawl up to the screen, waiting for him to say something because I know it will be gold.
