I have eyebrows...

seriously, i have noticed that the creators draw attention to guest stars on the simpsons (mel gibson comes to mind) by giving them eyebrows. It makes them more real i think.

Tom Jones, Stephen King, Jerry Springer and Lisa Kudrow all had no eyebrows on their character either.....

Interesting list. With the exception of Tom Jones, Stephen King, and Jerry Springer, that list of characters are famous people playing another character. I have no opinion on the eyebrows being present or not, but am curious if anyone has a list of people who were essentially themselves?

Other than the aforementioned Mel Gibson, the ones coming to mind are music people and sports people; Who, Ramones, Sting, Red Hot Chili Peppers, the Hullabalooza acts, etc and then Magic Johnson and the ringer Softball team; Clemens, Boggs, Griffey Jr...

Oh, and all the actors in the Krusty get Kancelled... Johnny Carson, Bette Midler, Luke Perry, Hefner, Liz Taylor, doh, and the comics when Krusty changes his schtick, Leno, Steven Wright, Janeane Garafalo, oh man, now Im thinking of tons, let me stop and just ask again

Of course they are Guest Stars. I just noticed that extensive and interesting list of people had almost no people 'as themselves' and was just asking if someone happens to have a list of 'people as themselves'

Alec Baldwin, Kim Basinger, Ron Howard are others that come to mind. I'd start making a list, but I always assume someone else has done it first. :)
