I just saw for the first time the episode when Marge meets up with Artie. There is an awesome M*A*S*H reference.
I wanted to know if there are any other M*A*S*H references in the Simpsons, the only other one I can think of is the Cory Hotline episode when Dr. Hibbert offers Lisa a M*A*S*H coloring book.

The second part of that joke is that Homer pages through it and says "wow, he really hates Wayne Rogers!" WR played Trapper on mash, and then mike farrell came on as hunnicut...I guess for a while people expected him to be Trapper II before liking his character for what it was, so he might have been bitter about that.

In the episode where Marge and Homer are living on the West side in an apartment or something, Marge and her some of her neighbors are talking about the last episode of M*A*S*H* and how one of them already misses the Klinger and Mike Farrell "boils"one of the others' "potatoes".

Dammit, MASH was awesome and funny up to the very end, and so far the Simpsons also will be.
But if Simpsons is really going to mimic MASH, the it's about time for Homer to direct a few episodes.
