I was checking the Google archives for some messages regarding the Bartman music video, amd I cam across this little bit from 1990. The thing that really stood out was the little comment made at the end of the post this guy was quoting

Why do you think the Simpsons won't be around much longer? What's the point you're trying to make about a relationship between the quality of the video and whether the Simpsons will continue?
