Just a quick note to let the regulars know I received a cadaveric kidney in an operation last Friday (3rd), and with everything that happens in the aftermath of such a major thing I won't be around here for about 5 weeks. I can see you're all getting on well without me, but just thought I'd let you know, especially Mr Museum, who has been very supportive.

Yes, I am sure that "playing your didgeridoo" means something else in Australian slang. As for upsetting the stitches, I've been there. The day after my hernia surgery I fainted and fell down and injured my ribs. For a few days the ribs hurt more than the hernia surgery site.
So Paul, don't laugh too hard for at least a few weeks, as it may hurt your surgery site. And get well soon and get back here as soon as you can!!!
