Short cast list

Is there a short cast list available somewhere? I don't want to see who played every last character in the show--just all the characters, say, from Smithers on up. I know most of them, but I want a little cheat sheet for me and my son to refer to.

That page has more information than you could ever possibly want to know. If you want something a little simplier, try going to http://www.snpp.com/ and picking a random capsule from the episode capsules page. They'll have the cast listed for that episode, and it'll be mostly the main characters.

If you didn't mind a one-time long perusal of the whole cast list file, you could copy it into a word processor, then sit there and delete everyone you don't want to know. That list is pretty accurate, though I think some one-time voice substitutions are left out (off the top of my head, I know Dan Castellaneta has done Troy McClure once and Aristotle Amandopolous once as well...I don't remember if that's in the list). Alternatively, you can go into any of the existing Complete Guide/sequel books and copy down facts from the much shorter list; unfortunately, some of the attributions are incorrect. I believe most of them are corrected at http://www.snpp.com/guides/acgtoff.html (for the complete guide) and http://www.snpp.com/guides/tsf.html (for the simpsons forever) - not surprisingly, there isn't one yet for Beyond Forever. hope that helps.

But I don't know about that guy. And I don't care! There needs to be a cast list for normal people like me who care about Troy McClure's voice but not about Aristotle Amandopopolous's. Of course, such people would never read this newsgroup...

YES, we get the idea, you don't want minor characters. you've been given numerous suggestions as to how to get a simple list, so go use them and stop jamming the i'm-not-a-nerd-no-honestly rhetoric down everyone's throats. please!
