My review of "Brothers Little Helper":

A decent plot, which almost comes through. Sadly, this episode is severly flawed by many pointless and/or unfunny jokes and sequences (call me stupid but what was the Homer-Carl scene all about?), and some insane turns of events. Still, you get quite a few chuckles and some real LOL jokes, and that does it for me. If only they would have avoided the gratuitios Mark McGwire cameo (I'm no baseball fan either, so that doesn't help much) I might have liked this ep better. In conclusion: Some parts were hilarious, some made me almost yawn. That's how it is when you're constantly spoiled by good episodes, I guess. Grade: B.
