Even though Calvin and Hobbes creator Bill Watterson is very much against licensing his characters to be used for merchandise (with the only official Calvin and Hobbes product being the collection of comics in book forms), that doesn't stop bootleggers from using them for their own merchandise. Two main bootleg Calvin and Hobbes products come to mind, both of which are referenced by Chief Wiggum. The first one is t-shirts featuring the two title characters (one example of these that I've seen involves the two with Bart Simpson drinking beer and eying Lisa, with it being accompanied by the caption "Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder"). The other type is car stickers that feature Calvin peeing on the logo of various car companies (with each sticker featuring a different logo).
META HUMOR ALERT: After Homer makes a comment about quality of animation, his mouth moves to the right of Homer's head and is floating in mid-air.
