Seriously, worst episode ever?

My nominations:

• 4F23: The Principal & The Pauper

Unbelievable plot, even for a cartoon. As lame as it gets.

• BABF05: Take My Wife, Sleaze

Ugh. Totally unfunny motorscycle gang gags.

• BABF04: Little Big Mom

Except for the Disco Stu gag at the ski lodge involving Marge, the rest of the show was as funny as an Alan Greenspan news conference.

• BABF10: Alone again. Natura-Diddly

Worst character killing ever! Lame & stupid. Maude alive made the Flanders' even funnier.

• CABF08: Worst Episode Ever

Yes, that's the name, not a sarcastic remark. The idea of CBG and Mother Skinner having sex is absolutley vomit-inducing. The scene in which we see the top secret 1950's civil defense movie about how Springfield will be bombed to "calibrate" our missiles is pretty funny, though.

I'm still not convinced they "did the deed". They were interrupted by the police before they could.

The worst ever is "Homer The Moe".

Nah, I have to disagree with this one - I found the episode overall quite funny, and would rate it as a good ep. There were several good gags, although yes Maude's death was lame, the rest was pretty good.

And I think you're forgetting pretty much all of Season 13, they could all give Little Big Mom a run for its money as worst episode ever.

While I agree that the plot was horrible (and the ending was horrid), I still think that this episode had far too many good jokes to be considered the "worst episode ever". For example:

Homer: And why is Grandpa here? Grandpa: Because Jasper didn't want to come by himself! Homer: Huh, fair enough.

Grandpa: [mumbling in his sleep] Hello, beautiful...

Armin: This is Armin's apartment, Armin's liquor, Armin's copy of "Swank", Armin's frozen peas. Homer: Can I see your copy of "Swank", Armin?

Armin: Up yours, children!

I thought The Principal and The Pauper was a clever parody of traditional sitcom "rule" that no matter what happens in an episode everything somehow reverts back to normal in the end.

That one was kinda funny.

Lisa as a liberal nature-lover; Springfield as a town of low brow losers with stupid traditions; Homer as a violent oaf; Mayor Quimby as a corrupt rabble rouser---and to top it all off, Barry (not Larry) White as the offical celebrity guest of the week. Seems like classic Simpsons to me.
