I agree to an extent... I don't hate the first season, but I'm rarely very interested in watching an episode from it. As soon as they stopped being "heartwarming" the Simpsons became the incredible show it is.

You will have to replace "incredible" with "piece of crap," to make that statement accurate.

And the best type of show is a realistic, down-to-earth show that's completely off the wall and swarming with magic robots. Plus, Homer should not be the focus of the show, but every episode should focus on him. Also, Homer being humiliated in crazy slapstick for the sake of fun should not be allowed, unless he happens to be falling down a gorge.
