This idea predates Smart and Smarter by three years--Maggie grows up resentful of Lisa due to her older sister's musical talent and genius. The picture below is of Lisa, age 16 and Maggie age 9 having a fall out in a flashback:

that's because one sister being jealous of another is neither an original nor interesting idea. in the case of smart and smarter, but even more in your case because you didn't even invent the characters concerned.
