Do your local stations show older episodes?

My local station just keeps showing the same 20 or so episodes from the last 2 or 3 seasons. If they show that goddamn N'Sync episode one more time I'm gonna go postal. There are tons and tons of episodes from seasons 2 - 9 that I have never seen. I wish Fox would get their heads outta their asses and release the DVDs quicker than one season per year!

My local WB affiliate doesn't do this with The Simpsons, but they do this with Everybody Loves Raymond. I've seen every episode they play now at least twice.

And why couldn't Fox have just put the effort they put into the Moulin Rouge DVD into more seasons of The Simpsons? Moulin Rouge sucked! And it gets two discs? Come on, that was time that could have been better spent on The Simpsons! ________________________________________________________________

The DVD's aren't that expensive....Star Trek The Next Generation has just been released. They will release one season per month. (Seven months) at 105 US$ each. That's expensive.

My local Fox channel seems to be showing the 1991-1992 season in order at 3:30pm then the 1997-1998 season in order at 5pm weekdays, with a random one at 5:30 on Sunday right before Futurama...

The Fox affiliate here in the Minneapolis/Saint Paul Metropolitan area is currently showing later-season Simpsons episodes at 5 PM Central, then they show King of the Hill reruns, then at 6 PM they show one of the earlier-season episodes of the Simpsons. They do appear to get around to showing all of them.

Here in Indianapolis, They do it in order according to season, but mix it up within seasons, except for holidays, of course. They're in S8 right now, with The Itchy & Scratchy & Poochie Show (4F12) and Homer vs. the Eighteenth Amendment (4F15) showing on 4/1.
