Moe's Tavern - about Moe and the regulars including Homer

Abraham, Martin, and John - with Abraham Simpson and two other old folks home residents named MArtin and John.

The Bouviers - Marge's family before that fateful night she picked up Homer after being pawed by the disco dude after the prom.

Monty - documents Burns from the time he was born to the present. No clips of Citizen Kane parodies, please!

what about a flashback series? i love them 70s flashbacks with all of them in High School, etc. It could be called This 70's Show. "Tim Hall" wrote in message news:[email]...

Except "That 70's Show" would never have been on TV if it weren't for the Simpsons. No reason for the Simpsons to do a tribute to them...

Please note: You can contact me directly by sending e-mail to [email], but you must put "[alt-tv-simpsons]" in the subject line or it will automatically be deleted.

I think some of these ideas would be cool...but I can't see many of them lasting for more than a season. What would be cool is for them to create a show called "Springfield" or something, and then each season could be about a different family or location...

Try this for a 'spinoff' idea: www.maggieanderic.com .

Hopefully I can update the pics/comic when I can stop working 90 hours a week...

It's all about "The Adventures of Ned Flanders." If it were set before Maude's death, it could be an Ozzie and Harriet type show with a religious theme. ^_^ Or better yet, a variety show along the lines of all those Osmond family shows!

Or better *yet*, a show focusing on Ned's beatnik parents called "Daddy, O!"

Or how about an anthology series where the whole cast is put into various time periods and places? The first episode, "The Blue Rajah," would be colonial India, and star Apu....

Hee, I think that's enough from me. Line for slappin' forms to the left. --Anna

All I am saying: Lenny and Carl. What they do? Who they do? Why they do it? I don't know. But man, what a show.

Grounzkeepen By Willie on PBS would be psycho! "Ach, ya take tha ferrtelizer and put on the grrrasss."

The funny thing is that you can keep it serious (with helpful tips) and it would still be funny.

Ach.

Here's even more:

"Senator Simpson-" the wacky, horribly preachy adventures of twentysomething freshman Senator Lisa Simpson. Each episode would have Lisa dealing with a different issue or theme, and by the end she would have pretty much solved nothing, just like the real Senate. All leading up to her becoming President, of course. Meanwhile, Bart continues to amount to nothing.

"Moe: The College Years"- Moe's days at the bartending college seen in "Homer the Moe." Barney tags along to sample his work and cause continuity problems.

"Moleman" Hans Moleman. That's the entire concept. Because let's be honest, Hans doing anything is funny.

"The Hibbert Show" A look at the wacky lives of chuckling Dr. Hibbert, his wife and his four kids. Oops, make that five kids when a new cute daughter materializes out of thin air and no one questions it.

"Celebate in the City" The continuing adventures of Patty and Selma. Plus, is Patty really gay?

"The Grandpa Show" I had an idea for this show, but I can't remember it without my pills...what year is this?

"It Never Ends" Soap Opera spoof in the tradition of Soap. With Moe Syslack as Dr. Tad Winslow, and Homer Simpson as The Angel From the Future. Also featuring Milhouse as himself.

"McBain: Out for Justice" McBain's partner is killed and he swears revenge! Every single week! Rather than just fire incompetant officers, the department starts to just pair them up with McBain and thus save themselves from doing the termination paperwork. Oh, and each week McBain's revenge involves sleeping with a beautiful woman whom we never see again.

"Lenny and Carl: The Strange Couple" Can Lenny and Carl share an apartment without driving each other crazy? Actually, yes; they get along very well and never have any disagreements. The show does not last long.

"The Boring World of Neils Bohr" Every week, Neils discusses the widespread ramifications of the declining Gross National Product of Finland via a long, long series of graphs. Then in the second hour, he stares at you.

"Bartman" Bart acts totally out of charecter and decides to stand up for all that is good, and meanwhile, no one suspects that Bartman may actually be that little kid named Bart who looks just like him. Stupid? Perhaps, but it'll still pull in better ratings than Twenty-Four.

"Artie Ziff's Computer Tips" Artie shows the computer illiterate helpful hints such as "How to Make a Picture of Marge Simpson Your Desktop Image," "How to Photoshop Marge Simpson's Head Unto a Nude Photo of Someone Else and Pretend it's Really Her," and "How to Install a Tiny Listening Device on Marge Simpson's Person."

"Ned Helps Otto Find Jesus" Exactly what the title says. In this hard-hitting reality show, Jesus is hiding in a different place each week and Ned must help Otto locate him. If they find him before time runs out, they get fabulous prizes. If not, they go to Hell.

"Battling Seizure Robots" You'll never look at TV the same way again! Provided you still have the courage to watch TV after the incredibly painful seizures and months of recovery.

"The Further Adventures of the Guy Who Was Standing Around in the Background During One of the Scenes in the Episode Where Marge Opens a Pretzel Franchise." Wow! At long last this much neglected fan-favorite charecter gets his own series! Just think what stories he has to tell! Such as what his name is, for example! And if making a star out of a charecter who just stood in the background and did nothing seems far-feteched to you, I have but two words-Boba Fett.

"Man Getting Hit by Football" This show would sell itself.

"It's Ralph!" The life and times of a very special little boy. What potentially life-threatening foreign object has that loveable scamp shoved up his nose this week? Tune in and find out!

"The Virgin" 25 women come in, but only one will be chosen to take Comic Book Guy's virginity. The women compete in a series of events in an attempt to be one of the other 24.

"Invader Kang (featuring Kodos)" Aliens have infiltrated Springfield by cleverly wearing hats and using antiquated slang to disguise themselves. Only Ham, Database, Lisa and the rest of the Super-friends know the truth, but will anyone believe them? No.

"Late Night with Conan O'Brein" Simpsons writer no one has ever heard of gets David Letterman's job and...wait,never mind.

"The Van Horn Mysteries" Melvin Van Horn, AKA Sideshow Mel, and his sidekick Krusty, and Krusty's sidekick Mr. Teeny, and Mr. Teeny's sidekick Pepito the Biggest Cat In The Whole Wide World, solve mysteries each week. This proves difficult because for some strange reason no one takes them seriously.

"Radioactive Man" Join RM, Fallout Boy, the Superior Squad and more as they battle Dr. Crab and other villains with occasional help from Richard Nixon's head.

"Let's Just Throw Our Dignity Out the Window (formely Futurama)"-The Simpson family shows up at Planet Express in the year 3002 looking for work. No explanations are asked for or given. Bart and Bender try to outdo each other at mischief every week, Lisa and Leela complain and Homer and Fry attempt to match thier vast intellects against each other. Everyone else just kind of stands around. Ratings skyrocket.

"Poochie the angel"

After he died on the way to his home planet he becoming the guardian angle of Scratchy. Every week he saves Scratchy From Itchy hoping to earn his golden harp.

SuperdudeWyvern

Actually "Mistress Crabappel's Taste the Glove" would be cool too. Each week Edna would force a celebrity to taste her glove and receive discipline.
