Season 8 DVD commentaries

I have been watching the Season 8 commentaries, and have got as far as El Viaje... (the hallucination ep). One of the commentators had their kids with them, which I thought would be pretty cool, because it'd be interesting to see what kids thought of the classic Simpsons episodes. However, when they talked it was obvious that they were only three or four year olds, and most of their contributions were asking things like how does an oil lamp work etc. I would like to see in future ep's commentaries some ten-year-olds or there abouts to give some of their opinions on what they think is funny etc, and what they think compared to new episodes... any thoughts??

I absolutely agree with that. The most irritating moments, for me, was when they said "Homer funny". They were also on the commentary for "My Sister My Sitter". Bill Oakley and Rachel Pulido appeared on "Grade School Confidential" with their son James, but he didnt talk (mainly because he's only a year old).

The main person I found annoying on this set was Yeardley Smith. Usually I can stand her, but she appeared on something like 8 commentaries this time, and after a while her voice hurts your ears.

But then, I have some strange voice-crush on her. Maybe that has something to do with it.

I have nothing against Yeardley whatsoever. She usually asks good questions in the commentaries. Besides, I have noticed the actors don't talk that much anyway when they are in the commentaries.
