Timings of box set DVD's

Why does it take so long for them to put out season box sets ? What is it - one a year or something ? Surely it can't take THAT long to make them ??

It's the commentaries. Actually, it's the commentaries on the commentaries, which will be featured in the multiple boxed sets they'll be releasing after the movie. Example:
