The "saddest moment" thread reminded me that some of the most touching scenes aren't necessarily sad, and Maggie has lots of killer moments. One of my faves:
HOMER: What's Maggie ever done? Nothing for nobody! (And Maggie, sitting unnoticed beside him at a sporting event, saves his life by silently jumping up to catch an airborne object about to penetrate his thick skull)
Maggie is the most undeservedly underused character in the whole show. Every time she gets a moment, it's hilarious. The best Maggie sequence is probably the "Great Escape" parody in "A Streetcar Named Marge."

My favorite moment of perhaps the entire run of the show has got to be in the episode when they are looking through the picture album and the kids notice that there aren't many pictures of Maggie. Earlier in the episode, Homer receives a plaque from work which reads "Don't forget, you're here forever". All of the Maggie pictures cover this plaque making it read "Do it for her". It's just amazing that a show that is so funny can have so many touching moments in it as well. This is the best show on television.
