This is a real book. I happen to have a copy of it right now. It discusses the philosophy that is shown in the simpsons, they made various mentions to Aristotle and Marx, along with other philosophers. They also touch the topics of parody, illusion, irony, and character analysis. They also try to fit each character in The Simpsons to a philosophical model (Aristotlean Homer, etc.) This book is written by people with PhD's and many of them are professors at universities. This is the second book in the series, with the first book being about Seinfeld. It's a paperback book and available at Amazon.com for at a very affordable price.
