The Simpsons have 3 bathrooms?

As shown on last night's episode the Simpsons family have 3 bathrooms in their home. I don't like this, I don't like it at all.

The Simpsons is a show that has very little absoluteness to it, it's very flexible and free form. So if they need an episode that involves the ocean, there it is. If they need an episode that has the city of Springfield on an island, there it is, complete with only one bridge, and then it's never mentioned again. Springfield is always within easy driving distance of wherever they need to go.

This reinforces my notion that Springfield doesn't exist in our universe as we know it. Maybe it's in the Phantom Zone. Or in a bottle city, though that doesn't explain the nearness of an ocean or oil field when needed.

Hell, in the most recent episode alone the topography of Springfield must have changed 4 different times.

I agree; the kids shared one between their bedrooms, the parents had one in the master bedroom and Alice had one right off the kitchen near her room.

How hard is it to figure that out? An architect built it and lived there?

Was this when everyone was vomiting from eating the vegetable Krusty burger? I didn't think they specifically showed that the third person (Lisa I think it was) was vomiting in the bathroom. I got the impression she was in a bedroom vomiting into a trash can or something. I don't remember seeing a sink or a toilet. But that's just the way I recall it, I can't say for sure.
