third addendum for DABF17, and idea

I only seem to think of these things when I'm trying to do something else...sleep...concentrate on a book...anyway, I thought of more jobs Homer didn't list (see my previous post for my other submissions) - again, some of them are fakish, but I don't think these have been mentioned yet.

Homer's Odyssey (7G03): arguably an independent safety guy A Star Is Burns (2F31): film critic/panelist D'oh-in' in the Wind (AABF02): actor and applicant to the Screen Actors Guild

Also, the idea mentioned in the subject line... Tonight, I was finishing recertifying for CPR since I do lifeguarding on weekends and that has to be renewed annually, and we did a little overview of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), which are mostly foolproof versions of the defibrillators you see on ER (clear!). They all include vocal prompts (place pads, press "activate" to analyze, press "shock" to shock, etc), and they're all in a fairly robotic voice. Different brands are different sexes...but I thought, as long as they have to record voices, why not have some fun? Celebrity AEDs and/or Simpsons characters AEDs - that would be pretty cool. I mean, they already have their logo on everything else, and it wouldn't be a problem like the Marge Diaphragm. More like Krusty's line of...everything...like Krusty Brand Legal Forms (Hey hey! They're binding!). Yeah, that would be sweet. Press the button to shock-diddly-ock!

(I apologize if this is like the 5th time this has shown up...I'm having problems and I can't tell if it's been getting through or failing right before that)

Yeah, sorry about that. I canceled the extra ones as soon as they showed up...the problem was that the window I wrote it in didn't disappear like it usually does...it just kept saying "message received, waiting for reply..." and I didn't know if that reply was necessary for the message to actually get there or if it was a nicety for me. oh well, live and learn.
