Has the distributor begun a national syndication schedule again? I ask, because for two days straight, the same episode has aired on WUHF and on CBC. (Today it was THOH V).

Hmm... my local Fox channel shows it at 3:30 & 5:00 every afternoon (which is great for me since I'm working from home currently). They are two different reruns each day also.

That would certainly explain it, although it's still odd with CBC. Odd, firstly, because they wouldn't be part of any American contest, and secondly, because they have their own tapes of the episodes WITH DIFFERENT syndication cuts in some of them. For example, THOH V which aired yesterday. The standard syndicated version keeps Marge's intro in front of the curtain, and has cuts elsewhere. CBC's version cuts the Marge curtain intro, and leaves in the other stuff that was cut.

I stopped watching the CBC reruns of "The Simpsons" a long time ago. They destroy the episodes a lot more than the other networks. In 10 years, the show will last less than 15 minutes per episode.
