Congratulations to the Simpsons. They pulled off a great episode tonight. Definitely the best yet of the season. Lots of funny jokes, realistic storyline, and heart too. Good to see Jackie Mason again. Top gags: Santa's Little Helper with a dog prostitute Homer and Abe Lincoln knocking out Lee Harvey Oswold

I'd heard Carl Carlsson before but this was the first time I learned Lenny's last name is Leonard.

Some kid (maybe Milhouse?) called him "Mr. Leonard" in the Pre-Teen Braves episode, and Mona Simpson confirmed that his name is indeed Lenny Leonard in "My Mother the Carjacker."

I liked seeing the Crazy Cat Lady again. You know, the one with cats in her hair who mutters and throws cats when you come to her door. She was in that ep where Bart and Lisa do a news program for school.
