Wasn't "Helter Shelter" already used in Homer Loves Flanders? That's where Homer and Ned volunteer at the homeless shelter called Helter Shelter, founded by Reverend Helter.

Just another example that the show is running out of ideas!

Yeah, there's little actual character development. You could put a this- season Marge in season three and there'd be no real difference. But this is the price the show pays to be so flexible with reality.
